Wayne joined the Doherty team in 2015 as a Line Cook in our Okeechobee Applebee’s location.
Prior to being promoted to Supervisor in 2017, Wayne prioritized learning all BOH positions and responsibilities. He is very eager to learn and grow and takes a pro-active approach in learning all systems and processes within the restaurants. He was comfortable asking to learn all FOH operations and insured that he was crossed training in all FOH positions. Wayne managed his own professional development so well that he received the opportunity to take on a leadership role during a training for Treasure Coast in meat cutting.
Wayne was promoted to MIT in December of 2017. His hard work, motivation and ability to be a team player has successfully proven his leadership skills. Wayne holds himself accountable for all aspects of the restaurant and he expects the same of his staff. He exemplifies a tremendous devotion to the Applebee’s brand and a genuine dedication to WOW-ing every guest and team member.
