Stephen joined the Doherty team in 2007 as a host in our New Hyde Park Applebee’s location. In 2015 he was promoted to Supervisor.
Stephen has been crossed training in both FOH and BOH operations. His knowledge of both areas make his shifts function like a well-oiled machine. Stephen is hard working and exhibits motivation and ability to be a team player. These attributes have made him a successful leadership. Stephen holds himself accountable for all aspects of the restaurant and he expects the same of his staff. He exemplifies a tremendous devotion to the Applebee’s brand and a genuine dedication to WOW-ing every guest and team member.
Stephen lives Doherty’s values every day and is committed to WOW culture in everything he does. His willingness to do what it takes helped him through the ranks. Stephen is very eager to learn and grow and takes a pro-active approach in learning all systems and processes within the restaurants.
