Alexander Krukis

With over 30 years of experience in the NYC metropolitan area construction and development industry, Alex Krukis brings a comprehensive skillset to his role as Vice President of Construction for Doherty Enterprises. Since joining Doherty in 2019, he has contributed to the company’s growth by building more than 20 new locations, managing capital improvements, remodels, and facility maintenance, and supporting acquisitions. A 1997 graduate of Pratt Institute’s Construction Management program, Alex has worked on a variety of projects, including restaurants, hospitality, mixed-use retail, historic landmark restoration, high-rise residential, and waterfront/marine construction. His experience spans all phases of project delivery and includes working for owners, developers, contractors, consultants, and public sector work. This diverse background provides a solid foundation for his work leading Doherty Enterprises’ expansion efforts within the restaurant and hospitality sector.
